Welcome To Peripheral Visionaries..

Hello All,
My Name is Stephen Ramsay, and I am a founding member of the band Young Galaxy based in Montreal, Canada. Welcome to our blog, Peripheral Visionaries. Along with the other members of the band, Catherine McCandless, Stephen Kamp and Max Henry, I will be making regular posts here which will include (but not be exclusive to) any experiences to do with the band we think are worth sharing, such as tour journals, photos, video, etc. We will also share items that inspire us in our daily lives: music, writings, photos, and art in general, interesting links, news, and maybe a few rants from time to time. Starting today, I intend to establish a monthly ritual of posting a 'mixtape' of sorts - which is essentially enough songs to fill a regular 80 minute cd of whatever I'm listening to at the time. Today I am posting a recent mix that I made for my friend Sean Michaels' birthday, who is founder of the wonderful music blog Said The Gramophone. Here is the tracklist:

1. Captain intro
2. Robert Wyatt - At Last I Am Free
3. Freur - Doot Doot
4. Ben Watt - Lucky One
5. Force Of Nature - Static
6. The Associates - White Car In Germany
7. The Chills - Pink Frost
8. The Durutti Column - Sketch For Summer
